After reoorts surfaced that film was in trouble...The producers were quick to assert that actor Hugh Grant has NOT left the production of "Bridget Jones's Baby" according to the film's producers reports The Press Association.
Tim Bevan released a statement: "Reports that Hugh Grant has exited Bridget Jones's Baby are untrue. We are still working on the script hence the delay to the start of production, but the film is going ahead as planned."
Author Helen Fielding wrote the third book and film script simultaneously with David Nicholls and "Bridesmaids" helmer Paul Feig that will see Bridget (Renee Zellweger) having a mid-thirties baby crisis
Grant was reported to have concerns over the script.
Colin Firth is returning as well for the third chapter in the comedy series that Peter Cattaneo ("The Full Monty") will direct the film.
Jonathan Cavendish, Bevan and Eric Fellner are producing the pic.
