The Muppets Officially Get A Sequel

Disney is moving ahead with plans for a sequel to "The Muppets" says Variety--it helps that the first film made $154 million at the worldwide box office.

Director James Bobin and co-writer Nicholas Stoller will write the script for the sequel.

Human Jason Segel may return to star in the sequel, but his various other gigs are keeping him too busy to help write the sequel.

Word of the sequel came a few weeks ago during the international publicity tour for the first film.
