In the film Rooney Mara plays a troubled, depressed and often medicated woman who gets into a relationship with another doctor (Jude Law). She is medicated to help her deal with the anxiety surrounding the pending release of her husband (Channing Tatum) from prison.
Shaw plays Law's wife.
Catherine Zeta-Jones also stars as another Doctor.
Scott Z. Burns wrote the script.
Greg Jacobs and Lorenzo di Bonaventura are producing the film.
Production begins in April.
