Legendary Pictures has snatched up the fantasy script "Slayer" from Martin Helgeland says Heat Vision.
The story follows a modern-day doctor dealing with the loss of his father and what happens when he discovers that his dad was a dragonslayer. The doctor soon learns he is next in line.
Alex Garcia and Alex Hedlund will produce. Martin's father, Brian Helgeland, will serve as executive producer on the film.
