Gay Harden Last One To "Get A Job"

Marcia Gay Harden ("Into the Wild," "Mystic River") will co-star in the multi-generational comedy "Get a Job" says Deadline.


The film centers on a college graduate named Will (Miles Teller) and his friends who have to lower their expectations as they enter the real world during a recession. Nicholas Braun Brandon T. Jackson and Christopher Mintz-Plasse will play Will's three friends

Harden will play a demanding Vice President at an executive placement firm who runs her division according to her own rules.

Anna Kendrick plays Will's hard-charging girlfriend and Bryan Cranston is his father who is also looking for a job at the same time his son is. Alison Brie also stars as a sharp-toungued co-worker, and Jay Pharoah plays a guy starting what he thinks is a recession-proof business.

Kyle Pennekamp and Scott Turpel wrote the script that "Roger Dodger" filmmaker Dylan Kidd is set to direct.

Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher are producing.

Production is now underway in Los Angeles.
