Jeff Bridges has been offered the lead role in the developing comedy "Dirty Grandpa", and should the deal fall through Michael Douglas is Universal Pictures' back-up choice says Vulture.
The story follows a soon-to-be-married uptight grandson who is tricked into escorting his lascivious and recently widowed former Army general of a grandfather to spring break in Florida.
The script comes from John Phillips, the writer of Bad Santa 2 meaning the tone of the film is likely going to be dark and very adult.
