Edgar Ramirez will star in Richard Kelly's next film "Corpus Christi" says Variety.
Ramirez would play Paciencia De La Rosa, an Iraq War vet with severe Post-traumatic Stress Disorder
who forges a dangerous alliance with a wealthy industrialist in Texas.
The film will seemingly follow a much more traditional narrative than Kelly's last three films- the great "Donnie Darko" the ok sci-fi pic "The Box" and the muddled "Southland Tales".
Kelly, Robert Rodriguez, Eli Roth, Sean McKittrick, Aaron Kaufman and Iliana Nikolic will produce.
Ramirez and Kelly previously worked together on "Domino", in which the former starred while the latter wrote the script.
Shooting kicks off in Austin and Corpus Christi in July.
