Jennifer Connelly is rumoured to be re-teaming with her "Requiem for a Dream" director Darren Aronofsky and "A Beautiful Mind" co-star Russell Crowe in the upcoming biblical epic "Noah" according to Tracking Board.
Connelly would be playing Noah's wife Naameh in the film
The "Black Swan" director was also said to be after Liam Neeson for another role in the project but that casting is just speculative at this point. In a interview, cinematographer Matthew Libatique revealed that the story will also have a villain... Perhaps Neeson is the person they want to cast in that role?
Aronofsky & Ari Handel, wrote the original script for "Noah," but they evenually handed re-writing duties to John Logan (The Last Samurai, Gladiator).
Aronofsky, Mary Parent and Scott Franklin are producing the pic.
Production could start this Summer to meet its March 28th 2014 U.S. release date.
