The "Justice League " teams DC Entertainment's most famous heroes (Batman, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, among others).
It all started late yesterday afternoon when Variety reported that Warner Bros. was going to meet with Affleck in the next few days to discuss helming the superhero team-up flick with Affleck reportedly being the only person to see the script by "The Gangster Squad" writer Will Beall .
Affleck and Warners have a good relationship and the studio is releasing his next film "Argo" this Fall, a movie that that looks to be a major awards contender by year's end.
A few hours later, Deadline debunked the earlier article claiming that Affleck's reps stated that the actor/director will say 'No' to the job offer but may take a meeting about the pic anyway.
