An adaptation of author Karen Thompson Walker's just published debut novel, the action is set amidst the catastrophe that ensues after the Earth’s rotation mysteriously slows--the story is described as "a suspenseful and romantic snapshot of one young girl’s adolescence, a poignant family drama, and a heartrending glimpse into the everyday tragedies and triumphs that define what it is to be human in a world that might just be ending."
Seth Lochhead ("Hanna") has written the adapted screenplay.
Bill Pohlad will produce the film
