Jim Carrey Is "Ricky Stanicky"

Jim Carrey is set to reunite with his "Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls" director Steve Oedekerk for the high concept comedy "Ricky Stanicky" says The Hollywood Reporter.

Jeff Bushell's original script centers on three male friends who have used an invented friend, Ricky Stanicky, for the past two decades as an excuse to explain their way out of sticky situations. When their spouses demand to meet Stanicky, they hire an actor to portray him.

Michael De Luca and John Jacobs will produce the film.
