Kingsley And Clarkson Are "Learning To Drive"

Ben Kingsley and Patricia Clarkson are re-teaming with their "Elegy" director Isabel Coixet on "Learning To Drive" says Deadline.

The story is based on a 2002 essay published in The New Yorker by Katha Pollitt. In the pic  Clarkson plays a Manhattanite who takes driving lessons from a Sikh instructor (Kingsley) who is living in Queens under political asylum.

Jake Weber, Grace Gummer, and Sarita Choudhury also star.

Sarah Kernochan wrote the adapted script.

Dana Friedman and Daniel Hammond are producing.

Production is currently underway in New York
