Breck Eisner Charts "The Karate Kid 2"

Deadline New York reports that Breck Eisner will call action on the sequel The Karate Kid 2.

Harald Zwart directed the 2010 film--itself a remake of the 1984 crowd-pleaser

Starring Jackie Chan, Jaden Smith and Taraji P. Henson the redux grossed $56 million on its opening weekend and ended up making $343 million worldwide.

Smith and Chan will reprise their roles from the first film, but no plot information has been disclosed yet. At last report Kung Fu Panda scribes Cyrus Voris and Ethan Reiff  were writing the script.
