Robert Pattinson Bails On "Mission: Blacklist"

Robert Pattinson has dropped out of the psychological thriller "Mission: Blacklist" due to scheduling issues according to The Wrap.

Pattinson was to star as Army interrogator Eric Maddox--the man who spearheaded the capture of Saddam Hussein by playing a key role in pinpointing his hideout. The role will now be recast.

The film is being adapted by "Band of Brothers" writer/producer Erik Jendresen, Dylan Kussman, and Trace Sheehan based upon Maddox and Davin Seay's book.

Jesper Ganslandt ("Blondie") replaces the previously attached Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire who was set to direct.

Jendresen Ross M. Dinerstein, and Kevin Waller are producing.

Production aims to begin this Fall.
