Arnold Schwarzenegger's son Patrick has joined the horror comedy "Boy Scouts Vs. Zombies" says Deadline.
The story follows three high school Boy Scouts who must use their
skills to battle vicious zombies after their small town faces an
outbreak.
Tye Sheridan ("Mud") stars as a budding honors student who is shy around
girls. "The Bling Ring"co-star Logan Miller plays Carter, a class clown who yearns to get out of the
scouts. Returning from a camping trip with his troop, he learns that
his small town is under attack by zombies.
Schwarzenegger Jr. plays the popular high school quarterback who is a
rival to the boy scout troop.
Halston Sage (Neighbors) and Lukas Gage (Animals) have also landed roles in the film. Character details are unknown.
Joseph Morgan and David Koechner also star.
Christopher Landon ("Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones") will direct--doing a rewrite on the Black List script by Carrie Evans and Emi Mochizuki. Landon takes over from the previously linked Etan Cohen.
Todd Garner, Andy Fickman, Betsy Sullenger, and Bryan Brucks will produce the film.
Filming begins May
8th.
