Frank Marshall is set to direct the true life drama "The Longest Night" says THR
Based on Sean Flynn's 2008 article he penned for GQ that chronicled the Coast Guard rescue operation that happened during Easter six years ago when
an Alaskan trawler sank in frigid waters. The ship carried 47 people when it went down 180 miles from shore in
15-foot swells. The Coast Guard managed to rescue all but five.
Jonathan Lemkin ("Lethal Weapon 4") wrote the adapted the screenplay,
Dawn Ostroff and Jeremy Steckler are producing the pic.
