Elle Fanning Invited To "Parties"

Elle Fanning is attached to star in the film adaptation of author Neil Gaiman's short story "How to Talk to Girls at Parties" says Heat Vision.

The story follows two teen boys who go to a party in 1970s London. While one has no trouble scoring a girl right off the bat, the shy one has to find a way to make conversation.

Fanning plays a female alien tourist who wants to explore the galaxy's most dangerous place - Croydon.

John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) and Philippa Goslett (Little Ashes) wrote the adapted screenplay from which Mitchell is calling action.

Mitchell, Gaiman and Howard Gertler (How to Survive a Plague, World's Greatest Dad) will produce the picture.
