Sam Keeley Cooks Up A Role In Cooper's "Chef"

Irish actor Sam Keeley has signed on for a supporting role in the comedy "Chef" says Deadline.


Steve Knight's script follows Adam Jones (Bradley Cooper) a chef at a swanky Paris restaurant, who loses his job after a run of out of control behaviour. He decides to get clean and returns to the city with a goal to run a restaurant that can once more boast three Michelin stars.

Keeley will play David--a chef whom Cooper's character ends up crashing with when he’s displaced from his home.

Sienna Miller's playing the role of the female lead that Michelle Williams and Marion Cotillard were being considered for at one point. Omar Sy is attached to co-star as well 

Derek Cianfrance (The Place Beyond the Pines) was set to helm Now though  John Wells, fresh from calling action on August: Osage County, will direct instead.

Wells, Stacey Sher, Michael Shamberg, and Erwin Stoff will produce the film.

No production schedule has been announced yet

The film is not be confused with Jon Favreau's recently released indie comedy with the same name.
