"Thief" Video Game Becomes A Film

Vertigo Films and Prime Universe Films are developing a movie based on Looking Glass Studios/Eidos Interactive's stealth action video game series "Thief " according to The Tracking Board.

 
The game series follow a sarcastic but well-trained thief who lives in a medieval/steampunk city controlled by three factions representing various degrees of chaos and order. The series underwent a recent relaunch on the various consoles and PCs in February of this year.

"Hitman: Agent 47" producers Adrian Askarieh and Roy Lee are attached to this project.
