Pine says the new film has "no crazy sex scene"--telling E! Online that "There may be some bare midriffs, but you know it's been a long time since the bikini was invented, so I don't think we're going to ruffle any feathers."
Still a steamy scene between hunky Pine and gorgeous Saldana would certainly heat up the franchise.
Kirk does hit the sheets with Rachel Nichols in the film though...
Pine then spoke to The Associated Press about the way the flick handles the essrntiial Kirk and Spock dynamic
"...to a small extent from boyhood and their first encounter, which is a bit contentious, to kind of the beginning of the relationship we all know".
"They are at odds at first. The conflict of the relationship actually gives Zachary a couple moments where he's not as controlled and rational as Mr. Nimoy's character was. He has a couple of outbursts that aren't exactly the classic Spock" .
Finally writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman had a great chat with First Showing about the May 8th film.
