Tom Wilkinson (pictured) and Jim Belushi have joined the cast of Roman Polanski's The Ghost posts The Hollywood Reporter.Who would have ever thought that Wilkinson and Belushi would ever co-star in a film together? But I digress...
Anyway Pierce Brosnan stars in the film as recently retired British prime minister Adam Lang who hires a ghostwriter (Ewan McGregor) to pen his memoirs. He soon suspects foul play while investigating the mysterious drowning of Lang's former press aide, who was originally serving as the book's ghostwriter.
Author Robert Harris adapted the script, with Polanski, from his book of the same name.
Kim Cattrall, and Olivia Williams also star.
Polanski preps for this even as he continues to persue having his 31-year-old sexual misconduct charges dropped allowing him to return to the States....
Shooting begins February 4th in with a release planned for as early as the end of the year.
