Mamma Mia! star Amanda Seyfried will appear in Bruce Beresford's adaptation of Oscar Wilde's play A Woman of No Importance according to THR".Seyfried will play an American who finds herself falling in love with the womanizing Lord Illingworth (Sean Bean) in the English countryside until his mother (Annette Bening) throws a monkey wrench in his plans.
Howard Himelstein has adapted the script.
Seyfried beat out Lindsay Lohan of all people who's circled the same role since '06
Needless to say the better choice has been made.
