Samuel L. Jackson won't be extending his time as Nick Fury for future Marvel says The Los Angeles Times.
The actor, who made a cameo as the character in a post-credits scene for Iron Man , told the paper:.
"There was a huge kind of negotiation that broke down. I don't know. Maybe I won't be Nick Fury. Maybe somebody else will be Nick Fury or maybe Nick Fury won't be in it. There seems to be an economic crisis in the Marvel Comics world so [they've said], 'We're not making that deal.'"
A spokes-suit for the studio said "Marvel does not comment on active negotiations".
Having Jackson around as Nick Fury puts butts in the seats as opposed to a lesser known actor--especially for alesser known hero like Fury.
