An insider claims that the reason is due to the age difference between the beauty and star Russell Crowe, combined with him having not lost the weight he put on for "Body Of Lies ".
"Producers are looking for an older, plumper actress to play the role - someone in her late 30s or early 40s" says the source.
Crowe is also allegedly said to want serious script rewrites.
This film has been troubled almost from the jump. I agree with the unnamed source "It is a mess"
Shooting on the production has been therefore moved back from February to April, making the film a 2010 flick.
