Zach Galifianakis and Amy Adams have signed on to team up for the long-gestating comedy drama hybrid, Town House with a Pretty Woman twist says Variety.Directed by Once’s John Carney, the film is picking up team after long delays like the writers’ strike.
The film is loosely based on author Tish Cohen’s book of the same name. The story sees a man who has Agoraphobia-living with his teenage off his rock star father’s royalties. When they begin running out of money--A call girl strikes up a friendship with the man.
Doug Wright and Carney adapted the screenplay.
Tony and Ridley Scott will produce the pic.
