CHUD reports the news the notion as nothing more than a rumor, that DiCaprio and Maguire will star in the film update.
The Third Man is a noir mystery set in Austria's capital city Vienna, devastated and recovering from World War II. An American pulp writer arrives in the city only to find that the friend who waited for his arrival is killed under mysterious circumstances.
Steven Knight is said to be writing the screenplay. No director is on board.
Despite the fact that this is a remake that's not at all necessary--Those two actors possibly working together is very believable given the fact they’re good friends and have yet to star together in a film....
