Variety says that Ron Livingston has joined the currently filming comedy Dinner For Schmucks--a remake of Francis Veber's French film ‘Le dîner de cons’--being helmed by Jay Roach.Schmucks stars Paul Rudd as a man who hosts a regular dinner party for his friends, the goal of which is to find the world’s most pathetic guest.
Bruce Greenwood David Walliams Zach Galifianakis, Lucy Punch, and Steve Carell. Livingston's role is not yet known, though as fans of Office Space and Swingers already know that he has the comedic chops.
A July 23rd 2010 release date for Schmucks has been set.
