Kristen Schaal has joined the cast of Toy Story 3 according to director Lee Unkrich --during a recent video blog. and on TwitterSchaal (piictured) voices a new character but no further details are forthcoming.

The cast also includes Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Don Rickles, Wallace Shawn, Estelle Harris, John Ratzenberger, Ned Beatty, Jodi Benson, Michael Keaton, Timothy Dalton, Whoopi Goldberg, Joan Cusack, John Morris, Laurie Metcalf, R. Lee Ermey, Jeff Garlin and Bonnie Hunt.
Meanwhile the 3-D re-release of Toy Story and Toy Story 2 will extend its run beyond the originally slated two weeks.
