Liam Neeson has joined the cast of the new Paul Haggis' thriller The Next Three Days says The Hollywood Reporter.
An adaptation of the 2008 French film "Pour Elle,", Russell Crowe is a teacher whose wife (Elizabeth Banks) is arrested and convicted of a murder she says she did not commit. He comes up with a desperate plan to free her.
Neeson will cameo as a man who escaped from prison several times, wrote a book about the subject and gives advice to Crowe's character.
Olivia Wilde, Brian Dennehy, Daniel Stern. also star.
Shooting kicked off last Friday in an around Pittsburgh.
Neeson who is quite busy and will shoot his scenes either during or right after he finishes work on "The A-Team" and the Clash of the Titans remake.
