Oscar-nominated screenwriter Peter Morgan has set the James Bond fan base buzzing over his brief comments about his Bond 23 screenplay.
"It is a shocking story," Morgan said in an interview with the Austrian newspaper Kurier.
Morgan's cryptic comment has sites such as MI6 and CommanderBond going into speculation overdrive.
Does 007 quit? Is he really a Soviet spy? Does a mjor character die?
He also revealed that he wrote the script from July to October of this year, but that all work on Bond 23 has been put on hold until at least February 2010 due to MGM current financial issues and potential sale.
