The story specifically focuses on his younger years as an aimless playboy growing up under the shadow of a famous family, and his experiences in World War II that changed his life and gave him inspiration for the character of 007 based on his own exploits.
The script will be based on the book The Man Behind James Bond by Andrew Lycett and adapted by Matt Brown (Ropewalk) A director search is underway.
