New Skills

Just as Bryan Singer is about to return to the X-Men film series with X-Men: First Class-- The Hollywood Reporter says that a new writer has been hired to pen the script.

Josh Schwartz had been working on the script since last November but now Jamie Moss (Street Kings) has taken over scripting the project.

The trade points out that they’re “going back to the drawing board” for the movie...

Singer told Variety: "This is the formative years of Xavier and Magneto, and the formation of the school and where there relationship took a wrong turn. There is a romantic element, and some of the mutants from 'X-Men' will figure into the plot…"

Meantime An X- arrest has been made in the leaked workprint of X-Men Origins: Wolverine case..

The FBI nabbed a suspect that they believe uploaded a copy of the pic to the Internet weeks before its theatrical release.

47-year-old Gilberto Sanchez (a.k.a. SkillFulGil, theskilled1, SkillyGuy, and Skillz101) from the Bronx, New York was taken into custody Wednesday morning. A grand jury indictment alleges Sanchez uploaded the unfinished copy to MEGAUPLOAD on or around March 31, 2009.

Sanchez faces three years in prison and a fine of $250,000, or twice the gross loss attributable to the offense (whichever is greater). Fox will need to find a way to calculate the potential millions lost due to the leak first.

Not so Skilled after all eh?
