The story follows an United States Air Force veteran-turned-reckless airshow re-enactment pilot as he gets pulled into the underground culture of illegal, real-life aerial combat.
Josh Staman and Bryan Binder wrote the intial screenplay which Richard Jefferies ("Tron Legacy") is polishing. Chait, Jeffries and J. Todd Harris will produce.
Filming kicks off this summer in Michigan and will use all real airplanes and aerial sequences.
