I have some great news to share with you about TLR!!
As some of you know--I have been looking to bring on a regular contributor to blog for the last few months.
I had several reasons for putting up the Help Wanted sign:
1--I found myself getting very burnt out over blog related matters TLR was getting Un-fun The occasional computer virus or power outage aside I had not taken a break really--I tried over the years but then because of my personality and commitment it never lasted that long or some big casting news would happen and I felt compelled to report it
2--As much as I want to cover every film related tid-bit-It's impossible to do so as a team of one.
3--I want to make TLR the BEST film blog it can possibly be--a fresh perspective--by its very nature will make the blog better Plus increase traffic to the site (hopfully)
Well it's happened--TLR finally has another member of the team! A special shout out first must go to MovieNut14 over at the Defiant Success blog for suggesting that I contact Julian Stark from Movies and Other Things... to see if he would make a good fit--Aftter a few emails back and forth Mr, Stark has agreed to jump in with both feet! Please join me in welcoming him aboard. His stuff starts posting this week
How this all gonna work?
TLR is still mine.. I am not going anywhere as Editor/chief poster--Julian will post news reviews and whatever elese he wants to about film--But everything will go through me at first with one important distinction when he posts news or reviews and offers an opinion It does not have to jive with mine. And if we do disagree I hope you the reader will join in on the debate
At first I may give Julian stories I want him to cover but if all goes well that will end quickly and then I sit back and watch him go!
I am thrilled to begin the next chapter of TLR and am happy to have Julian along....Join us and see what happens next...!
Some other stuff you should know--Using the resources of IMDbPro I have started contacting reps of industry types in the hopes that TLR can land interviews--A long shot yes but you never know....
All the Best
