Kevin Macdonald to Direct “How I Live Now”

Kevin Macdonald will direct the upcoming feature How I Live Now, which will be unveiled to studios at Cannes. Momentum Picture and Alliance Films have distribution rights for Blighty and Canada.

According to Variety, the film will derive from Meg Rosoff’s book, which focuses on the effects of a fictional war and a forbidden romance on a teenage girl. Jeremy Brock, who scripted for Macdonald’s Oscar winner The Last King of Scotland, and Red Riding Trilogy writer Tony Grisoni will adapt the script.
