Eponine Will Be Played By...?

Taylor Swift. Lea Michele, Scarlett Johansson and Evan Rachel Wood are all said to be in the mix to play the role of Eponine in Tom Hooper's adaptation of "Les Misérables" says the NY Post.

The pic would take the world famous musical--based on Victor Hugo's book--and make it sing once again.

The script for this adaptation was penned by William Nicholson, which Cameron Mackintosh will produce. This time dialogue has been introduced in the script--amidst the singing

The story follows the struggle by ex-con Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman) to outrun his past and his relentless pursuer - the uncompassionate police inspector Javert (Russell Crowe). Anne Hathaway will play the role of Fantine in the film Eddie Redmayne ("Black Death," "My Week With Marilyn") will play the role of Marius

Eponine, a pivotal character plagued by poverty and, of course, unrequited love, sings some of the most iconic songs from the musical.

Production kicks off shortly for release next December.
