Riddick 3 Finds $$ Resumes Production After X-Mas

Production will resume on the third Riddick Sequel starring Vin Diesel, following a shut down last month due to money woes.

TMZ reports that the Montreal studio, where filming was taking place shut out the cast and crew after studio owner Michel Trudel, said that he hadn't gotten paid, now received their due funds.

Trudel is now willing to allow the film to pick up production where it left off. Several members of the crew still need pay checks, but those are expected to be handed out shortly.

Recently Bloody-Disgusting reported that Katee Sackhoff had been offered the role of Dahl, a mercenary tracking Riddick, and Andreas Apergis was offered Krone, the commander of an evil theocracy. Bokeem Woodbine and Dave Bautista are up for roles as well...It has also been reported last that Karl Urban is returning as Vaako, a role he played in The Chronicles of Riddick.

David Twohy is directing the sequel from his own screenplay...When filming on the project resumes on December 28th.
