Ethan Hawke spoke with AlloCine (via Vulture) and said that he, co-star Julie Delpy, and director Richard Linklater are intent on make a third film involving their characters from 1995's "Before Sunrise" and 2004's "Before Sunset".
"I don't know what we're going to do but I know the three of us have been talking a lot in the last six months. All three of us have been having similar feelings that we're ready to revisit those characters" Hawke says.
"There's nine years between the first two movies and, if we made the film next summer, it would be nine years again so we've really started thinking that would be a good thing to do. We're going to try write it this year" he added.
All three co-wrote the previous films which boast strong critical acclaim.
They are indeed very well made and I think Hawke's best work.
No word yet on which city this will be set (Vienna and Paris were the locales of the first two films), or a potential title.
