West is now in talks to tackle the car-racing pic Dust And Glory says the Heat Vision Blog
The story is described as a cross between Mad Max and The Jewel of the Nile. It's a romance adventure pic set during the 1950s’ REDeX Trials, which covered more than 10,000 miles of some of the toughest racing terrain in Australia, if not the world. The story will follow the rivalry between an American hotshot and an Australian legend.
Robert Lewis Galinsky wrote the adapted script based on the novel by Evan Green and will co-produce with Elizabeth Howatt-Jackman David Parker William Sherak and Jason Shuman
If West signs on in time shooting is set to kick off next summer
