The story follows a small time crook (Dominic Cooper) who is framed and sent to jail, only to go after those who put him there after he is released.
Chad St. John’s screenplay is unique in that it only has but one line of dialogue and made it on to Hollywood’s Black List back in 2009, the list of the year’s best unproduced scripts
Chris Evans was previously offered the lead role but has passed Joel Edgerton and Jeremy Renner were also in the running at one time as well
Albert Hughes directs for producers Joel Silver and Andrew Rona. Silver saw Cooper in "The Devil's Double" and put him in the front seat
The pic is not to be confused with "Broken City", another Black List script which Albert's brother Allen Hughes is directing starring Mark Wahlberg.
Production could begin as early as January 2012
