The story is driven by horror and vengeance, sees a 26-year-old man who wakes up one morning from a blackout hangover and finds horns sprouting out of his head. As the horns grow bigger by the day, the reason why seems to lie in the unsolved murder of his girlfriend.
Aja will direct from an adapted script by Keith Bunin.
Shia Labeouf signed on to lead the cast of Horns last March but that may not be the case any longer.
Hill, son of Stephen King will serve as executive producer on the pic.
Peter Guber and Cathy Schulman will produce.
