Kaya Scodelario ("Skins," "Wuthering Heights") is replacing Rooney Mara as the lead in Francesca Gregorini's indie "Emanuel and the Truth about Fishes" says Variety.
The story follows a troubled 17-year-old girl who babysits her new neighbor's "baby," which is actually a very life-like doll. She goes along with the delusion while befriending the neighbor, who happens to be the spitting image of her late mother.
Writer/Director Gregorini who worked with Mara on Tanner Hall and Matthew Brady are producing the film.
Emanuel and the Truth About Fishes is expected to lens in 2012.
