Game of Thrones star Kit Harington, will play King Arthur while The Killing star Joel Kinnaman has won the role of Lancelot beating out Harington and a slew of other contenders.
In the original tale the character is the sorceress half-sister to Arthur,
Gary Oldman is wanted for the role of Merlin.
The film was written and will be directed by David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) will, also, be a co-producer with Lionel Wigram--while Jeff Kleeman serves as executive producer on the $90 Million dollar pic
Production on “Arthur & Lancelot” takes place in 2012 with a March 15, 2013 release already set.
