Merritt Johnson and Andy Bellin adapted Eric Danville's biography about Linda Boreman's (Amanda Seyfried) rise to fame as iconic porn star Linda Lovelace of 1972's "Deep Throat," and her subsequent transformation into feminist, anti-porn activist Linda Marchiano
Peter Sarsgaard Sharon Stone Juno Temple Sharon Stone and Wes Bentley also star.

The film is told through the perspective of three interviewers at various staegs of her life
Azaria will play the director of "Deep Throat",Cannavale and Noth will play the film’s financiers, and Patrick will play Lovelace’s father.
James Francois also apparently in talks to appear in the film as one Hugh Hefner. Franco was initially eyed to take on Sarsgaard’s part, His role as Hef would be little more than a cameo.
Meantime The Hollywood Reporter adds Romeo Brown to the cast as DJ Frankie Crocker, little else is known about the character.

The film is not to be confused with Matthew Wilder's Lovelace biopic "Inferno" which previously had Lindsay Lohan attached until she was replaced by Malin Akerman.
