Marshall Has Hellfest

"The Descent" and "Centurion" director Neil Marshall is in early talks to helm the slasher flick "Hellfest" says Deadline.

The story follows a costumed killer who systematically slaughters the unsuspecting visitors who come to a theme park on Halloween night.

 William Penick and Chris Sey wrote the script.

The film is being constructed as a potential franchise launcher.

Gale Anne Hurd will produce

Production will kick off next Summer.
