The tagline "The Untold Story" most likely refers to Peter's parents Richard (Campbell Scott) and Mary (Embeth Davidtz) whom as we know from the Teaser Trailer are part of the new film...In the comics we're told they worked for the Government....From a marketing standpoint the tag also is meant to reassure folks that the new film doesn't retread all over Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy.
Andrew Garfield Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen Chris Zylka Emma Stone Denis Leary and Sally Field star.
The script penned by James Vanderbilt and Alvin Sargent sees the wall crawler take on the Lizard (Ifans) Marc Webb called action.
A release date is set for July 3, 2012 for the film and then a sequel arrives in 2014.
