Jolie And Besson Like Science

Angelina Jolie is in serious talks to star in an untitled big budget dramatic thriller to be written and directed by Luc Besson ("Leon: The Professional," "The Fifth Element") says Deadline.

All that's known about the film is that its rooted in true scientific elements

Jolie would shoot the film before she does Ridley Scott's Gertrude Bell historical biopic. Jeffrey Caine is currently rewriting that script.

Filming on Besson's pic would kick off next spring. Negotiations are already underway with a studio for domestic distribution.

Jolie also has Disney's "Maleficent" and a film based on the best-selling Kay Scarpetta novels by Patricia Cornwell on her plate
