"American Psycho" author Bret Easton Ellis and actor/scribe Jim Piddock are out, but four other names are being considered to write the upcoming film adaptation of the erotic E L James book "Fifty Shades of Grey" into a workable script says The Hollywood Reporter.
Karen Croner, Dan Fogelman, Veena Sud and Kelly Marcel are the final candidates. None of whom seem like a "Safe" choice.
Croner wrote the Meryl Streep film "One True Thing", Fogelman wrote family pics "Bolt" and "Cars 2", Sud brought "The Killing" to the U.S. , and Marcel worked on "Terra Nova" and the upcoming "Saving Mr. Banks"
