Bay, Paramount Open The "Almanac"

Paramount has picked up a top-secret found-footage project called "Almanac" says Heat Vision.

Any plot deets are being kept tightly under wraps.

Dean Israelite is attached to make his feature film directorial debut on the pic using a script by Andrew Stark and Jason Pagan.

Platinum Dunes pals Michael Bay Andrew Form and Brad Fuller are set to produce the film.

The studio is said to be "aggressively moving" on the project.
