Burrell Joins "Skeleton Twins"

Modern Family star Ty Burrell is set to play Bill Hader's former high school teacher and love interest in the indie comedy "The Skeleton Twins" says Variety.


Kristen Wiig will play Maggie, who reunites with her estranged twin brother Milo (Hader) after they both escape death in the same day. The siblings begin to evaluate where their lives went wrong, and that they may need each other to get back on the right track.

Luke Wilson also stars as Maggie's husband, described as a, "nature frat boy."

Anna Faris was attached as Maggie but has moved on

Craig Johnson (True Adolescents) is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Mark Heyman (Black Swan).

Stephanie Langhoff, Jennifer Lee, and Jacob Pechenik are producing the film.

Jared Goldman is executive producing with Jay amd Mark Duplass.

Production will begin next month in New York City.
